How Coach Pilot Works

Get personalized coaching in three simple steps

1:1s

Use this when you're preparing for a 1:1 with a team member. Start by saying who the conversation is with, what they do, and what the core issue is. Then share any concrete examples and, if relevant, paste in performance data (billings, KPIs, recent changes).

What it will do:

  • Ask a few focused questions to clarify what's really going on (behaviour, performance, impact, context).
  • Help you reflect on your own role and any biases.
  • When the picture is clear, it will generate a structured action plan: conversation intention, key points to cover, suggested flow for the meeting, and practical questions you can use in the 1:1.

How to get the best out of it:

  • Be specific (real examples, real numbers, actual timeline).
  • Answer one question at a time and say when you're ready to move to the action plan.
  • Use the final plan as your prep notes for the conversation, then come back afterwards to debrief and refine.

Leadership Development

Use this when you want to understand how your leadership style lands with your team and how to adapt it. Open by explaining what prompted the reflection (e.g. feedback, a tricky team member, a pattern you've noticed) and how you'd describe your natural style today.

What it will do:

  • Explore how you see yourself, how you tend to lead under pressure, and how flexible you are with different people.
  • Help you think through the impact of your style on confidence, ownership, and performance.
  • Create a practical leadership development plan: your current style profile, key impact insights, a specific growth focus, small behavioural experiments, reflection prompts, and simple ways to invite feedback.

How to get the best out of it:

  • Share real situations, not just labels ("I'm directive/coaching").
  • Be honest about where you struggle or get defensive.
  • Use the experiments and check-ins in your day-to-day leadership, then return with examples so it can help you iterate your plan.

Strategic Thinking

Use this when you need to turn targets and ideas into a clear plan—whether that's your year/quarter, a specific project, or a single big priority. Start by saying who the plan is for (you, your team, or a wider initiative), what you're trying to achieve, and over what timeframe. Then paste in any real data you have: targets, budget phasing, team structure, performance reports, CRM extracts, quotes, or project notes.

What it will do:

  • Diagnose what kind of planning you need (time-based, project, or single priority) and challenge vague or unrealistic goals.
  • Use your data to identify gaps, constraints, and the few priorities that really move revenue.
  • Produce a structured plan: 3–5 priorities or a project plan with clear "what" (outcomes), "why" (impact), "how" (steps, communication, obstacles), "who" (owners/delegation), success measures, and review rhythm.

How to get the best out of it:

  • Paste real numbers and structures rather than summarising.
  • Be willing to narrow down to a small set of non‑negotiable priorities.
  • Commit to the review cadence it suggests (weekly/monthly check‑ins) and return with updated data so it can help you adjust the plan over time.
